Knott's Taste of Merry Farm Preview
Christmas holiday season has already begun in our house and we have had a few outings under our belt. One event we couldn't miss was Knott's Taste of Merry Farm. We had the best time for their Taste of Fall O Ween event that we simply had to come back and try all the delicious food for this special holiday event.
While the theme park remains closed, Christmas spirit still shines bright this year with holiday charm brimming out of every corner of the park, as Knott's transforms with enchanted décor, thousands of twinkling lights, miles of festive garland, and a variety of picturesque holiday settings, all serving as a backdrop to the tastiest holiday foods around.
Entertainment
Peanuts characters are doing socially distanced selfies at the Charles Schulz Theater. This was the first time my youngest got to see any characters here at Knott's and he was so excited. We then went down to
Ebeneezer Scrooge was spreading his special cheer in Ghost Town.
We even saw Father Christmas and the boys were so excited.
There was also a photo opportunity with Santa available at the Wilderness Dance Hall.
My husband was so intrigued with the chainsaw carver which I must admit was very entertaining and so talented carving all those wood pieces. They boys got to enjoy Freedman Glass artist who was creating hand blown glass masterpieces.
The bumper cars have turned into an expanded dining area.
Fun décor and photo-ops can be found all around the park.
We even decided to try our luck playing some boardwalk games this time around. They were disinfecting the stations after every use and were practicing social distancing when sitting the guest which I thought was a great thing.
Retail
Stores in and around Ghost Town are open offering familiar assortments of boysenberry and other park merchandise. Plus, local crafters and vendors bring their unique assortment of color and craft to the park to round out the experience.
We passed by so many different shops and truly we wanted to buy it all because everything was incredible, but we decided to commemorate the evening and our trip by getting a personalized ornament with our family names. We absolutely fell in love with it and couldn't wait to get home to put it up on our tree.
FOOD & Drinks
Everything we had was so delicious and we wanted more but we were so stuffed. Just know that there is something for everyone and everyone will go home with a full and happy belly.
Know Before You Go
The Tasting Cards come with a feature QR code that is scanned at each vending location.
Re-entry IS allowed during the event
Your photo is taken before entering and you have the option to purchase at the photo kiosk located to the left upon entering the park. We ended up buying their Single Day Unlimited digital package which is $29.99 dollars and we got to take more pictures around the park as they had professional photographers and amazing photo ops available.
