The Sweeter Taste of Life

Secrets of Sulphur Springs Was A Blast From The Past. Catch the Season Finale "Time After Time"

This week has been nostalgic for us. It’s hard to imagine that we’ve finally come to the season finale of Secrets of Sulphur Springs. It’s goes without saying that this show has not only brought us mom blogger friends closer, but it has also been a strong influence in the way we now spend time with our kids. Since the show started, I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend more time with my kids specifically with my oldest. Every week we both looked forward to Monday because we knew it meant new episode of Secrets of Sulphur Springs, that alone had us siting on the edge of our seats in anticipation. We both knew we were going to receive a special treat from our friends at Disney to do something fun before the advance screening. This also meant we would have to stop everything else that was going on in the day; cleaning, laundry, homework to have a chance to spend time together. If I could turn back time I wouldn’t do it!. I got to experience every Monday for the last month the way I would have wanted to spend it. With my kiddos having fun and being present.

This week I didn’t need a time travel machine to take me back in time, our friends from Disney Channel Pr and Kristin Cruz sent us these cute caboodles that immediately took me back to my childhood. If you own one of these then you are probably a kid from the 80s. It brought back so many great memories from when I was a little girl. We also received a cute little radio speaker which my kids immediately fell in love with. We played 80’s music before the start of the show and I was able to reminisce and tell my kids some stories from when I was growing up. These and all the other treats have been amazing and we can’t thank our friends enough.

It’s been so fun getting to watch a new episode each week, and sharing this time with some of my Disney Moms. Not only that, we’ve had the chance to meet the cast from the show who were sweet enough to answer some of our questions. We are forever grateful for the opportunity and hope you tune in with us this Friday 12th for the season finale of Secrets of Sulphur Springs. Don’t miss out!

If you still have not started watching Secrets of Sulphur Springs you are seriously missing out. It’s been so fun for the whole family and every episode seriously has you sitting on the edge of your seat! Luckily, you can now watch the first 6 episodes on Disney Plus or catch the series on Disney Now. Great show to introduce to kids who love exploring and are inquisitive. I’ve compile all of the series’s recaps to get you excited to watch and get you ready for the season finale. Enjoy!

Series Synopsis

Secrets of Sulphur Springs is a live-action, time-travel mystery series for kids ages 6-11 and their families. Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows adventurous 12-year-old Griffin Campbell and his bright-eyed, thrill-seeking friend Harper as they come across a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues related to an unsolved town mystery. Griffin’s father, Ben Campbell, moves the family from Chicago to Sulphur Springs to take ownership of The Tremont Hotel, an abandoned property that has been vacant for decades. Griffin learns that the hotel he just moved into is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a girl named Savannah who, without a trace, disappeared decades ago. He becomes really good friends with Harper, a girl he meets at school and together they sneakily explore The Tremont and soon stumble upon a secret portal that transports them back in time to a previous era. They are both committed to solving the mystery of how she went missing, Griffin and Harper embark on a time-travel adventure that puts them face-to-face with a sequence of thrilling escapades and run-ins with younger versions of people they have come to know in the present day.
